Ingredients

  • 1 cup coconut cream
  • 1 cup soy milk or any milk of choice
  • 1 cup skyr or Greek yogurt
  • 1/4 cup chia seeds
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup or honey adjust to taste, optional
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract optional

Method

Whip the Liquid Base
  1. Spoon in the room temperature coconut cream, soy milk, and yogurt into a jar. Use a hand mixer to whip until bubbly. A frother or immersion blender works too. If needed, just shake the jar well until the mix is nice and airy.
Incorporate Chia and Chill
  1. Add the chia seeds and give it another quick whip so everything blends smoothly. Cover and chill in the fridge for at least 3 hours. Overnight works best for a thicker texture.
Serve
  1. Scoop into bowls, add your favorite toppings, and enjoy.

Notes

If your yogurt is on the thinner side, use only 1/2 to 3/4 cup of soy milk.
Thick yogurt gives the best texture. For a dairy-free option, go with a plant-based yogurt.
